How many pounds have you lost?
I have lost 47 pounds so far.
How long did it take you to lose the weight?
5 months
What health risks or medications have been reduced or eliminated?
I was put on sugar medication for a severely elevated sugar level 5 months ago and as of last week I am off all sugar medications and feel fantastic.
What motivated you to lose weight?
My health was the main concern for me. I was feeling really tired and my body wanted to break down.
What were your previous weight loss efforts like? How is this one different?
I have tried every diet in the book. I think the main reason for me doing well at this point was my health and wanting to be around to see my niece and nephews grow up.
How did you feel losing weight?
Great!
How have your family and friends reacted?
I get a lot of 2nd glances at work and my family have been very supportive.
What eating changes have helped you the most?
I now eat 3 meals a day. Ever since I was diagnosed with Diabetes eating 3 meals a day helps maintain a good blood sugar.
What physical activity changes have helped you the most?
I have joined a gym and swim 1 hour a day 4 days a week. This is enjoyable for me and it helps me get my exercise in as well.
What is your current physical activity like?
I belong to a gym and swim 4 times a week for 1 hour a day.
What tips do you have for others?
It is very important to write everything that you eat down. I never liked doing it, but it makes everything so clear when you see it on paper.
What’s your favorite low-calorie snack food?
My favorite low-calorie snack food is lowfat popcorn.

I certainly would recommend Fran’s program to anyone. It is realistic and you can eat anything you want as long as you write it down. Her support is key to the program and she is always there for you 100% anytime you need whether in person or on the phone or even through e-mail.
